Party for the Planet-Earth Day Event

Bring the family and come join us for our "Party for the Planet" Earth Day Event. 3:00pm - Screening of the feature documentary, The Lost Bird Project. Following the film, we will hear from Keynote speaker, Mr. Harvey Webster on behalf of The Audubon Society of Greater Cleveland, The Cleveland Museum of Natural History and Lights-Out Cleveland. 4:30pm Environmental shorts: Among Giants and Straws. These docs are brilliant and expand your awareness on how to take care of our Mother Earth. 5:30 - 6:30 join us for Happy Earth Hour. There will be a cash bar selling the "Planet Punch" signature cocktail, food from The Green Machine food truck offering locally sourced, vegan and gluten-free options, music, (not included in ticket price) Watch these award winning environmental films: The Lost Bird Project :(Trailer: https://vimeo.com/105180307) The Lost Bird Project is a film about public art, extinction and memory. It is an elegy to five extinct North American birds and a thoughtful, moving, sometimes humorous look at the artist and his mission. Among Giants: This documentary begins three years into the McKay tree-sit. On his tiny platform a hundred feet up in the ancient redwood canopy, Farmer must battle the elements and avoid isolation as he fights for a sustainable future.
