Lunch and Learn - Non-Profit Panel

This lunch will give you an opportunity to get some information on a few of the many nonprofits in the Chagrin Valley.  We will highlight 3 of our Chamber member nonprofits, giving you insight as to who they are, what they do and how you could get involved if you’d like.  The nonprofits featured at this lunch will be:
 
Bainbridge Area Food for Friends – assists individuals or families who face a catastrophic loss, such as a house fire, injury from an accident, or debilitating illness.  Our patrons are in need but generally do not qualify for government assistance.  The pantry serves Chagrin Valley area communities including Bainbridge Township, Auburn Township, South Russell Village, Russell Township, Newbury, Troy, Aurora and Chagrin Falls.
 
Chagrin Arts - The mission of Chagrin Arts is to enrich life by presenting inspiring performances and stimulating conversations. Throughout the year, Chagrin Arts presents inspiring and unique performances, including an annual music crawl. Past performances have featured Chicago Children’s Choir, Verb Ballet, Bash the Trash, and Apollo’s Fire (Cleveland Baroque Orchestra).
 
Chagrin Valley Womans Club - The Chagrin Valley Women’s Club is a member of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs – a service group organized in 1930.  Our main philanthropy is giving scholarships to senior students graduating from the five Chagrin Valley area high schools.  They have given more than $398,000 to 488 graduating seniors.  Other community organizations receive monetary and volunteer support from them.  Their main interests, besides the scholarships, are the arts, conservation, education, home life, international and public affairs.
