En Plein Air Opening Reception
Valley Art Center is excited to present its En Plein Air Art Exhibit! “En Plein Air” is a French term that translates as “in the open air.” Plein Air paintings and drawings are created outdoors, from start to finish, in direct observance of the subject, rather than in a studio working from sketches, photographs, or the imagination.
For Valley Art Center's En Plein Air Art Exhibit, we invite you to take some time to enjoy and appreciate artist's interpretations of their views outside. Artists have entered work created out of doors anywhere in the world. Don't miss this fantastic show! Show dates September 9 - October 12, 2016.
