Adult Summer Classes and Kids Camps

Summer Camp at Valley Art Center is a hands-on experience of visual arts. Camps for all ages are offered mornings and afternoons from June 20 – August 14, 2016.  All Around Art Camp with Emily English is an all-time favorite! Explore fundamental art experiences including drawing, painting, printmaking and traditional camp crafts.  Send your teens to Photography Camp with Tessa Dicker to get to know the ins and outs of the camera and many creative projects. Try Nuts and Bolts Drawing or Printmaking with artist and teacher Kate Oulton. Chagrin Falls jeweler Kim Mettee invites students to Beading Camp with an eclectic array of raw materials to explore, experiment, and create. Who likes playing in the mud? Pottery camps are for ages 4 and up. Joan Rusek’s Prewumps introduces students to clay and Mudwumps work with coil and slab construction. In Teen Pottery, try handbuilding, new glazing techniques or the pottery wheels.
